Of the games you listed I choose Kinghts of the Old Republic. Its got a fantastic story on par with Empire Strikes Back.
The Force Unleashed is not coming out for the PC.
One of my all time favorite Star Wars games is Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. It was the first game you get to play as a Jedi. Also, choosing the path of the light side or dark side depended on what you did through out the entire game and not a flip of the coin choice like they did with Jedi Academy.
Kotor followed by Jedi Outcast. Two magnificent games that are some of the best in their respective genres.artur79
Do you like Academy? I played the demo and it felt like a really lazy expansion pack and not a true sequel. I hope they make IV.

I hated Academy. It is a butchered Jedi Outcast imho. Lame ass story, crappy missions, a boring main character and absolutely no charm that the first game was full of. Bleh. I hope a sequel is in the works too, but I'm not sure that a fourth game would be a good thing.

I agree, though with nowhere near as much hate. :P
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.
Haven't played many, but JK2 is sure as hell better than Star Wars: Empire At War.

I actually liked Academy more than Outcast, but its mainly because of the level design though. I found the levels in Outcast very confussing and I got stuck at places very easily(I got stuck at every level, so I had to use cheat the skip though it)
Well I'd say it all depends on what you want out of your star wars game.
Kotor: It's DnD Star wars on your computer. not a fan of Star Wars RPG so I didn't play through it.
Jedi Outcast: good first person to 3rd person lightsaber combat. the 3rd person lightsaber combat is lacking and you need mods to get any decent dual or double bladed lightsaber combat. Single player is pretty good with a decent multiplayer.
Jedi Academy: Better Lightsaber combat than Outcast. Dual and double bladed lightsabers look like actual movie combat for the most part. Multiplayer is 10x better than the Single player though.
Commando: I've never played it, but if you're more fond of Clones than Jedi I'd say its probably for you.
Empire At War: if you want an RTS (Galactic battle grounds is an alternative, plays almost exactly like Ages of Empires)
Battlegrounds I-II: 3rd Person commando action with excellent warfare gameplay.
Lego Star Wars I-II: If you want a family friendly game with tons of replayability and relive the movies.
Galaxies: The only Star Wars MMO. Need a pretty decent computer to run, Ground animations are glitchy, but Space combat is extremely well done.
Those are pretty much the essentials. A lot of people will say "ZOM THIS IS THE BEST GAME HANDS DOWN!". I say it's all in what you like to play. Browse Gamespot, read some reviews, do your research and you should find one you like.

Well, the game had a few tricky puzzles at times, but that's what I liked about it. Don't know why though, usually I get pissed off in a second if I'm stuck. ARRRGH, Myst 4...
KotOR>KotOR 2> Jedi Outcast> Battlefront 2> Republic Commando> Battlefront
Those are the ones I play/know so I cant really say like DARK FORCES RULED!!; because I never played it.
lego star wars

While some might laugh at this, I found Lego Star Wars to be a really fun game :P
But I'd have to vote for KOTOR as best SW game though.

I agree. The Lego SW are fun and clever. I played a few of the PC, but the most memorable for me was the Nintendo DS with the Complete Saga, having all six Star Wars episode.
My vote is still KOTOR, coincidently enough, I'm installing while typing this.
