Which UFO game is better?

UFO Afterlight or UFO Extraterrestrials, which is better? I'm playing Afterlight atm and enjoying it a lot, so iv'e been wondering about Extraterrestrials. I know it's more true to the original but it's let down by it's graphics and slow turns. The pausable real time in Afterlight is great, same as in KOTOR.l

Cenega's UFO series has been ok, but the blatant stealing of ideas and game title from the developers of UFO: Extraterrestials is really bad. Im very very suprised Cenega has not gone in an uproar about it, why would they let someone steal their ideas and name to profit from it. Very strange.

UT:ET is almost a 1:1 copy of enemy unknown so why should it be that much better

for me i played both and like ut:et more. afterlight is more fast paced and simlyfied et is pure hardcore

So you are saying that the makers of UFO:ET stole the idea from Cenega? Come on, if there is someone who should be screaming about, those are the Gollop brotherts (the creators of the original Xcom). Besides that, in my opinion ET cant be compared to the Cenega series. Ill be honest and say that the graphics and some desing elements from ET suck (you cant view a map of the landing zone of a UFO, you cant adjust the movement speed of the soldiers, you cant hire any personel). But it borrows many elements from the original 2 Xcom games and executes them in a great way (something that Cenega never managed to do).
