ive only made decisions on the OS and Processor, going with XP MCE and intel

i am a bit lost so feel free to mix and match from what i have here, im on a budget of about $1000

Ok look at this motherboard (i would not reccomend it, just to look at the slots)  Most motherboards come with either AGP or PCI-E (almost all come with the PCI-E nowadays), but there are some, like this one that take both.

The top slot is AGP(used to be the best slot for GPU's), the next down is PCI-Ex16 (this is what you want to have) The next 4 are PCI slots (you can get GPU's for these but they really stink)
