Just out of curiosity, what wireless router do you guys use and what have your experiences with them been like?

I have both a Dlink DGL-4300 gaming router and an older Linksys WRT54GS flashed with DD-WRT. The D-Link is noticeably faster, a lot faster actually, stable to the point where it almost never needs to be reset, and performs better under heavy load. I think that's largely thanks to its beefy (for a router) 250mhz multi-threaded CPU. The Gamerfuel thing is kind of a gimmick though. It's just a marketing term for QoS, which is really nothing special. It also has gigabit-ethernet, which you would probably only ever use for file transfers or LAN gaming with gigabit capable PCs. D-Link's service is godawful though, which I found out when a firmware update killed my router and I had to get an RMA. It's a great piece of hardware, but I would almost tell people to avoid Dlink just based on how horrid their service and support was for me. The Linksys seems to have better wireless range; and while the firmware on the D-Link is fairly good, DD-WRT blows it out of the water and gives you options typically only seen on enterprise-level stuff. The Linksys can get really flaky though and often needs to be reset, which is why I got the D-Link. Basically, I use the Dlink as my primary router because it's much faster, but keep the Linksys handy as a back-up.

I'm using a Thomson speedtouch 576, which came free with my AOL platinum subscription. I was expecting it to be crap, being free and all, but its actually surprisingly good, and has never broken once after being turned on almost non stop for the past year and a half or so :D

WHR-G54S, awesome router, I would even venture to say it is the best for the money. I've had fun playing with DD, Tomato, and OpenWRT (w/XWRT). More reliable and draws less power and is about 40% smaller than the previous DI-624.C1.

Using the WHR-G54S here too. Love it so far, using DD also.. curious about Tomato, though. I mostly want stability for the wireless, as I'm just hooked up on the ethernet here. The DGL-4300 is supposed to be one of the most amazingly kickass routers out there, though.

DIR-655, it's pretty deadly, it can handle the most IRC connections than any other router I've tried.

Linksys WRT54G v.4 and WRT54GL both running DD-WRT. I bought the GL and and G was one I got for free and un"bricked" it. I'm actually only using one. My friend has a 108Mb Dlink that's faster, but has a smaller range and seems less reliable.
