I love JRPG on the console when I used to have one (a proud PC gamer now) but I wouldnt really care if FF13 is on PC because the PC market has been and always will be very lacking due to the tiny amount of JRPG games available.
Well, it would be nice, but I can't say i would be purchasing it right away... maybe 2 years from now....
If the graphics were a ton better, I would buy a new video card just for it.JunkTrapIf the graphic on the PS3 for that game is already that awesome how much more awesome would it be on PC? My eyes might blow up from all the awesomeness lol
It'll probably come to PC if console versions sells millions of copies, because it would be very inexpensive for Square-Enix to finish the PC version used as base for the x360/PS3 development. But after all I've seen on the previews and gameplay videos I really don't care anymore. This game will be far worse and dumbed down than Final Fantasy X. And I say that being a Final Fantasy fan, at least until Final Fantasy VI, the best one in the series.:P

I can name a few things:
-DX11 Tessellation
-Anti-Aliasing
-nVidia 3d vision
-PhysX by nVidia
-ATi Eyefinity

Yes, would be amazing.... too bad most of the PC community think they are above japanese games, and thinkg WRPG are the only good ones because of the illusion of choice which ultimatly is very minor at best :roll:Birdy09
Nah.. I enjoy both JRPGs and WRPGs..but the Final Fantasy franchise has been really disappointing with the past few installments. I have enjoyed some recent stuff from other franchises like Lost Odyssey & Persona 3/4 though.

I love them actually, even the GOOD RPG's. But all the stuff I've read about FF 13 just makes me really mad. According to all accounts, this is the most linear FF yet, and I'm sorry, but Square doesn't make games anymore. They make interactive CGI movies. I'll take any number of good Japanese RPG's over FF now.

Japanese developers are not PC supporter (expect capcom)badtaker
Capcom is the only japan developer who cares of the pc. But recently square enix started to release their games on pc too. They released Last Remnant and Order of war on pc, also they will release Front Mission Evolved on pc.Iam happy that Front Mission evloved coming to pc because shotters are my favorites games!! But i would also like to see FFXII on pc to

Its linear style is nearly Identical to Final Fantasy 10s.... your on a set path until about 2/3s of the way...... then a wide open area (with alot more to do than FF10's) comes into play... maybe you should read some actually impressions from people who have completed it, not ones that have seen JPEGS are the 1 line maps... which were the same as FF10... nobody seemed to care then.
Or how the game, despite "lineararity" still takes 50-60 hours with side quests....
dont get me wrong, its no second coming I agree, I dont particulally like many of the characters... only Lightining and the one whos name i can never rememeber (The Female that summons Bahamut). and the lack of any trademark minigames is a big annoyance. But everything else looks amazing.
Its an MMO, right?
Games like these are just begging to be PS3-PC compatable, meaning a person on PC can play someone on PS3, and vice versa.
I really do not understand why it is that difficult. Consoles are just baby computers, after all.
Nope, FF13 is the Single Player Game coming out next week on PS3/360, FF14 is the MMO :P. FF11(the previous MMO) had cross system support, PC, PS2 and Xbox360 were able to play on the same servers... infact had to =]Its an MMO, right?

oooooh that is very cool, did not know that
I think they should revert to the old battle system first, after FFXI its been nothing but realtime systems which make the games boring. But anywho I have a PS3 and a 360 so I couldnt care less.
[QUOTE="kevy619"]what do you expect from racist.:Pit would be nice, but its been proven to be more suited to console. Heck they didnt even release a 360 version in japan.

Weird how is that racist? I think you're being too extreme, there is also plenty of examples in the western games that are racially biased as well.

Who cares if it's like FF 10? I started hating the series with FF 7. well thats fine, but do consider that you are not everyone. I didn't like FF 10 either. In fact, I started hating the FF series with FF 7. There are plenty of better JRPG's out there imo. In regards to CGI movies, I never said they ONLY make CGI movies. My point is, you watch far more cutscenes and dialogue than you do playing the game. That's why I say it's more like watching an interactive movie than playing a game. I don't really know anybody who doesn't agree with that.
Sadly, it might require either a suicidal, yet heroic effort to convince Square to bring the Final Fantasy franchise to the PC.

I thought there's been Final Fantasy games for the pc. All of them have been low-key. But, they're there. I remember Windows versions starting from FF VII.

Eidos' ports of FFVII and VIII were considered garbage by the way. I could imagine that FF would have become a PC franchise if Square-Enix took the time, effort, and patience to port the games themselves, with FFXII using normal mapping and specular maps.
Meh, if it came out for PC I'd buy it for PC, but otherwise my playstation will do just fine for me.

I agree with this. FF6 and Xenogears was when Squaresoft was at their best. The only other FF I liked after this was 9. They just haven't released anything as good since then. I will probably still get it but, I will wait for a good amount of user reviews first. Every Final Fantasy gets an inflated score from gaming sites for some reason. Please Log In to post.
