Me. I don't particularly like EA's approach to the copy protection issue, but that won't stop me from enjoying what looks to be a great extension to the franchise. The cartoon-esquegraphics, humor and fast paced action is what actually draws me to RA3. Obviously it's all about having a blast.
i'll definitely get it. from what i know, RA3 would be the most daring, imaginative and technologically impressive title to the decade old franchise. i'm not saying it can't fail -- obviously everything can -- but it's looking fantastic so far. gosh, i haven't been this excited about a RTS for years. :D
Me.
Simply because it actually looks like an RTS where they put the singleplayer in the forefront. And, of course, the FMVs.
I am tired of these RTSs that follow in Starcrafts "might-as-well-be-multiplayer-only" footprint, i.e. Supreme Commander. They might as well call th ese types "Battlefield: RTS" since their singleplayer games are so moot.
If any genre deserves an epic story and singleplayer experience, its the RTS genre...you get to command armies battling out in war across vast landscapes. MP is fine and all, but the "epic" feeling goes away when you reach a stalemate with some 13 year old for two hours.
and becoz multiplayer has gone through substantial beta-testing, i think we can count on that portion being well-executed. so on paper, RA3 has the potential to do very well both online and off. :)
Hey, I was just wondering who is going to get the game? I might...SimplyFatal
I plan on buying it in December whe I can fit it into my budget.

Excuse me, Stacraft's campaign is considered superior to those you find in the average C&C game. :|
Besides, next year we're seeing three RTSs with campaign designs more ambitious than RA3's linear, old-school type......

opinion..even though you may have numbers on your side to support your claim... thats social authentication, (and most people do confuse that for truth)
i liked starcraft.. but i consider C&C to be far superior in most aspects.... but this is all opinionated.

I agree C&C > starcraft. Starcraft is good and all but I think what makes me not like it to its full potential is its way overhyped on how "great" it is. I'll get Sc2 but i'm not going at it with extreme excitment I don't care when it comes out i'll just go because I know it'll be competetive and should be pretty fun.
I'm getting RA3 can'tw ait for it tbh :D.

yeah im really excited for RA3, more than any game coming out soon.. want to play so bad.No matter how you look at it , I'm guessing quite a few whos will be getting Red Alert 3.
On a more serious note, this game was nearly pre-order worthy, but alas the DRM will most likely relegate it to a used game purchase for me. Regardless of that, I'm still looking forward to it!

I was most likely going to pass on this game before, but after seeing that pic.... wowza! Advertising at its best! ;)

 i had it pre orderd a month ago
oh yeah, sorry to hear that man, well in 4 days y0u can get lost in the Red Alert universe, have a drink(if old enough) or whatever. and rage war on RA3Well the girlfriend just dumped me, so I'll def be getting it =P
Hopefully, they will make the SP a little bit stronger than Generals and Tiberium Wars
Amigro
I am getting it regardless of the DRM. No sense avoiding something I really digg just because of the copy-protection... if it is too annoying, there is always a fix...wigginender
I agree if I want it DRM will not stop me even if thats the goal :P
Me...but not until Dec.
If hadn't bought Farcry 2, I would have gotten it this month ( the 28th that is ) But no I had to fall for the hype that was FC2.
Man...!!! Farcry 2 is just boring....! I'd rather be unleashing mutated russian bears then driving back and forth, killing the same dudes every five minutes....ad naueseum.
I wish I had gotten RA3 instead of FC2 thats for sure...!!
So it's Dec for me now...of course I'll have FO3 to keep me company.
everyone thinks that RE 3 is bad or not great he is not Hardcore PC gamer the game deserve 10/10 and ther si air water and ground units there is no water units in other RTS games so if anyone thinks the game is not great Give me reasonsDark_prince123

Age of empires 3 water is often a deciding factor for a game. The person who wins on a water map is normally the person controlling water unless they suck. So your wrong there son.
but RA3 will be good that is true :)
That is the best part of the C&C RA series! Being memorized by Natasha Henstridge's clevage was half the fun in Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. ;)
I doubt it, I'm skeptical of games that use females in short skirts and tight boob-filled tops for advertising purposes.claytoma
