im getting rid of my pos creative xfi platinum card, since it pretty much works whenever it wants. im looking into buying another card, not really concerned about price... payed $170 for the creative card, so just getting a card that works would be worth that much.....

im looking for a card similare so the xfi platinum, but that will actually be reliable and will work ALL the time...

ps. to anyone thinking about buying a creative sound card, BE CAREFULL.. do searches for bugs, glitches... you will find ALOT and NO soutions.... plus, creative has by far the worst customer support... they take about 30 minutes minimum just to get through, then you get someone that doesnt know a thing, and will tell you the problem is not the card, its your computer... lol

and i know some of you have creative cards that work, and it could just be my build, even tho its a very common one.. but their are ALOT of problems with these cards, just do a search....

anyways, ill shut up... lol.. so any suggestions on a sound card? i was looking on newegg, but not really sure what brands are good.....
