Who plays Team Fortress 2?

Just wondering who in here plays team fortress 2 and if it has a big and lively community, I'm really looking for a PC game to buy and fancy this but unsure whether to buy it unless theres a large community with a lot of games going on...

It's been a while since I've played but don't hesitate to pick this up: it has a big community and a lot of servers with many people playing.
If you have steam you can check the servers for this game and you will see there are a lot.

All Valve games have big communities by the way

not only is the TF2 community very large...but I believe its also growing.

yeah i play it all the time and they update the game every couple of months, updates ussually include a couple of new weapons,maps,and hats

It has a HUGE and great community.
Still my most played online shoooter.

It takes a while to get into, (atleast it did for me) but when you start getting good it's really fun.

It's downright fun to play, and the community is thriving. I never have problems finding a game with a solid connection. I say buy it.

Yep. It's one of the most popular and active online games of all-time. Up there with the likes of Counter-Strike and CoD4. It isn't going away any time soon.

Buy it. You'll love it.

I play. Huge community. Active, tons of mods and TONS of support from Valve along with TONS of extra FREE content and DLC.

Edit: OH and I clocked in over 575 hours of gameplay.

theres only about 20,000 people playing it at a time, im not sure if the steam stats are jsut for my specific location or if it is global but you will probably find some servers but 20,000 isn't much.AlphaJC

20,000 is a lot when you only need 24 or 32 people to play a game.... I have "hide empty servers" as a browser option and still pull 600 to 800 servers every search. Unless you live on an island in the middle of no where you will be able to find a pretty close game.
