Who still has hope?

....for Duke Nukem Forever? I forget about this game for months at a time, and I can't say that I've been waiting with baited breath for some kind of official announcement. But I was just thinking about it it today, and I for some reason really wanted to be able to play the game. I know the game won't be anything revolutionary when it comes out, but I'm betting that it'll be fun, and that's really all I care about.

Anyway, just spouting random thoughts....:)

I always think of it every time E3 comes around or another big gaming show. I'm sure it's going to be a great game once it comes out. I almost feel like buying it day one cus they worked on it for so long, haha.

It'll be nice for the game to finally come out.......but from the time of it's originally scheduled release up until now, so many great shooters have made their mark on the gaming landscape, Duke's reception might be a little more lukewarm than the fans would like.....

It's going to be the best game ever, and I'm serious. They can't screw up.

i been waiting for it ever since i been makin maps for duke 3d, .. so i know what the wait is about, and i feel the hype, and i feel it might be good, but can never live up to the hype.. i doubt they spent all this time workin on it, most of this time its probably been sitting on the shelf collecting dust cuz their just too foolish to realize what a gen duke nukem is and how much money it would make them

After this much of a wait, and the continued promise that the game will cure world hunger whilst being able to be run on a pretzel, I can see no way which it won't be a devestating disappointment. That's not to say that it won't be a good game in and of itself, just that it can never be worth the amount of waiting time and nothing can justify it having taken so long to produce.

Still, for those who hold out hope you can always order a copy

basically when the game will be released it will cause everyone who play it to transcend the material realm and become a being of pure energy, the reason the game is delayed so much every time the development team reaches a certain point, everyones head just explodes from pure awesomeness.

I don't think the game will ever come out let alone actually being good. It was announced in what, 1997? Does 3D Realms have the same team that they did when it was announced? Probably not. Have we seen an ounce of official gameplay footage? No. False hope is all this is.mo0ksi

This is what I want from Duke Nukem plain and simple, I wanna shoot dudes and it to look fricken AWESOME! Big ass voice acting, blood spraying everywhere, bodie count off the charts, lets go Duke come on!
