who still replays HL on occassion?

every time i replay this game, it never seems to get old. so amazing. (playing HL:S btw with high-res mod) can't wait for Black Mesa Source.

Yes, I do! Blask Mesa Source is going to be amazing, I've been waiting for it for so long now.

I play it every now and again. I always get to Interloper and stop playing. So I've never finished. The last act is very mediocre compared to the masterpiece that is the rest of the game.

I'm very much looking forward to Black Mesa. I have a feeling it's going to be awesome. As long as it's faithful to the original, which obviously it will be, how could it possibly fail? And it'll be FREE!! :D

I still do sometimes. I think I've beaten this game around fifteen times.

The last time I played it was back in 2004 when they released the semi-source udated version of the game when you bought HL2. I'm jusy waiting for them to release Black Mesa Source.

I have finished Half Life 3 times, its an amazing game. However last time I played was in 2003. When I will get HL 2 I will also get Black Mesa mod and play through again.

Honestly I really didn't like Half-Life after the first few levels, dunno why.. I just cheated my way through the rest of the game :P But I was playing some Sven co-op last week with a couple friends. It's pretty damn fun

can't wait for Black Mesa Source.

HL will never get boring theres too much meat to that legendary title. its like super mario brother 3.

Just beat Half Life a few months ago for like my fourth or fifth time.

Just the opposite to me.....its no longer playable to me in sp, I don't think it has held up well.

DOOM 2, on the other hand, has held up much better IMO. I could fire up DOOM 2 at any time and enjoy it as if it was my first time in 1994.

I would argue that Half-Life hasn't aged as well as some other games (many of the gameplay mechanics feel a bit dated), but the AI and level design are still amazing.

I dont think i've ever played through the whole game after i beat it the first time. I can't wait for black mesa though

Yes, I would agree with that, I'm certainly not bashing the game! its still a favorite of mine, but while it has many great attributes it hasn't aged well IMO.
