My friend's dad is the biggest battlefield 2 fanatic there is, he loves that game to death, and he just got CoD4, and it hasn't converted him, CoD4 is like, a spinoff of BF2, and not a "better version", so, he's still loving BF2 to death.

I believe as of now it's still a rumor. A pretty feasible rumor, but still a rumor.

Why? What game would you suggest they migrate to?
I personally haven't played BF2 in quite some time, but alot of people really enjoy the modern combat setting, large open maps, vehicles, persistent stats, etc.
What other game is out there that is newer and better (which is an important point -- don't say Armed Assualt) that offers what BF2 has?
I can totally see why people would continue playing BF2 at this point. Easy.
I'm honestly not a big fan of vehicles. I like more fast paced infantry combat with smaller maps so COD4 would probably be for me. I like something I can jump right in to and rack up a bunch of frags in half an hour.
I moved on to BF2142 long ago. But I do stil play BF2 once a whilebecause some of my friends wants to play it together. But COD4 is all i've been playing now days. So little time so many games.....

And the people that play Counterstrike and WoW for all these years need to move on too. If the game is still good, theres no need to move on to anything. :|
As for me, I have no plans on leaving BF2 after I get COD4. Whats the point of doing that? Isn't it better to have two online fps to play at the moment, instead of only one?
