Who's getting FEAR now? POLL

As Dirty Harry once put it, "opinions are like a******s, everybody's got one." It's just a case of finding the one that you agree with on a regular basis.

GS, IGN, Eurogamer could have thrown it a 1.0 if they wanted. The reviews I follow gave it 80%, so I'll still be getting it.

I'm sick of this. They intentionally didn't change the gameplay and overall feel of the game, because everyone was saying that it was a great game. Now those same people bash FEAR 2 because actually FEAR=FEAR 2. That means if FEAR 2 sucks, FEAR 1 sucks tooregnumekal

Are your from another dimension, where lean is in the game and shining enemies aren't? Where the game is challenging and the scares aren't cheap?

I got it this morning. I have to say I had more fun with UberSoldier, and TimeShift totally trashes it.

I got the first FEAR and loved it. Extraction Point was good as well.

I played the FEAR 2 demo and thought that it looked good.

I'll get it. Already tried at the Walmart this morning but they didn't have it yet. I agree with the opinion part. I read reveiws and if the game isn't a bug fest and it looks like the kind of game I like then I'll buy it.

The GS review didn't really have anything to do with it, but the demo is what influenced my decision that it isn't really a high priority at the moment. On certain levels of gameplay and in certain aspects, I think I'll still enjoy it.

Indeed, I'll take a low-budget indie arcade shooter or a low-budget original FPS over a high-budget run-of-the-mill pretentious shooter.

i stopped buying multiplats for my PC unless its really necessary which is clearly not the case here.

i only buy indy, exclusives and multiplats with high quality gfx for PCs.

if they claim that a game looks the same on every system, i know its a farce, and i pass.

I'd rather play through Project: Snowblind again then bother with FEAR 2 and I see nothing wrong with someone saying TimeShift is better then FEAR 2. I enjoyed the TimeShift demo much more then I did with FEAR 2 demo...I'd be more apt to buy TimeShift and play through it then I would be with picking up FEAR 2.

Everyone has different tastes, it's a shame to see how shallow others can be when they have to rip into someone for stating their opinion.

The whole dark, closed in, scary setting has gotten stale and boring to me. I know FEAR 2 has outdoor parts, but they don't look good enough to make me want to pay full price for the game. Maybe I'll but it in a year or 2 when it's $20 or less.

Oh, and I'd like to add that I'm dissapointed that Monolith has been wasting their time on FEAR 2. They can do better IMO.
