I preordered it, but I dont have the money to pick it up. The biggest problem with that game is the way the guns are, too me.Elite_Rendog92

I'm one of them. I played the demo and I thought it was OK, but not worth actually buying. Which sucks because I've been looking forward to this game for so long...

Yeah, I even had a friend make me a clan website for it, but the game isnt amazing, since there are numerous games that have capitalized on the genre.

Downloaded the demo, played 20 minutes and:
It's like battlefield but worse, the interface looks a little more advanced to make it look sci-fi and stuff but it sucks too.

Me and I'm loving it.

It's a lot better than the demo and when you get a good server stick to it. The thing I like is when you get two sides who are working together, the battle can become very intense and you'll even jump off your chair when you win. They are also adding VoIP for fireteams in a patch, which will improve teamwork more.

If you take the time to get used to it, it's a really great game. Just don't bash the game for it's first couple rounds. My advise play against bots before you play against real players.

Its definatly more hardcore than wolf:Et ... the hitboxes are alot smaller and such, but I love the weapons, especially the Strogg's Lacerator and Flying Drone (Strogg Infiltrator) got 7 awards in 1 round once, was well pleased :D.

Only downside to me is, unbalanced trams (skill wise) can shorten a game alot, but if you play competitivly in clans or what not,its absolutely amazing.

Nobody should miss this, its better than Battlefields imo.... more character, more use of classes.

Before people say "it was the beta, not the final version," i didnt have any technical problems. i connected to servers fine and i ran the game on max (looked rly good by the way). The fact is, its just W:ET with the Doom 3 engine, i mean, W:ET was decent for a free game, but QW:ET doesnt seem to have changed much at all, and its $50 now.

Thats alittle poor isnt it? Its not just Wolf ET ... its more balanced, it has vehicles, the maps are larger, the classes are more interesting.........

From what i´v played in the demo i think this game is awesome.

good graphics and good gameplay it felt like the good old quake games coming back (exept for quake 4 wich is still 100 times better :P)

i prefer quake wars over battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142.

the vehicles are also very realistic i had a really good time driving them.

overral this game is worth the money but if you havent tryed the demo i sugest you download it ;).

It's very fun, team-based, with lots of different classes and sub-classes. It took me a while to get into the game but once you start figuring things out it is very rewarding. Much more so than a your typical team DM or CTF. Also, the graphics are freakin' awesome, best looking mp shooter out right now (don't believe the reviews). At least until UT3 comes out later this year, which I will also be purchasing.

UT2004 has large vehicle maps aswell, its pretty much Identical in that sense , but it always had the smaller maps like the original UT aswell ... it has both, and ALOT of them.

There were noappreciable gameplay improvements from beta to full version.

I have been playeing it none stop for 3 days now and it is the best. When your team wins you basically jump off your seat and scream. Its way cool. I loaded xfie and want to know who plays so that the team can chat? These multyplayer games are new to me, I only ever played fps by myself and i'm hooked now. Guys, this rocks .

How do you get somee ppl together to chat while playing with say xfire. So many times you need help or need to get to ppl to a location fast?
