Better performance for price?...Plus im pretty sure most cards will last longer than you want them anyway.

Better price/performance, solid quality etc...

Nvidia isn't a bad company, both companies make superb GPUs. Ati has really done a great job by making high-yield, low manufacturing cost, high performing parts, which has really helped them comeback from their bad generation the 2xxx series. If it wasn't for ATI's above strategy, Nvidia would be charging much higher prices.

Also, the warranty has to do with the board maker. ATI board makers likes HIS and Visiontek provide lifetime warranties if I'm not mistaken.

The same can be said with many ATI cards, it all comes down to price/performance. That and preference.

Ati is not Over the 4890 Of XFX Is the Best bang for buck after Overclock If you like Lifetime warranty + 1 (Transferable Ownership)
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2009/04/03/radeon-hd-4890-vs-geforce-gtx-275/8 (not Overclocked Review)

Also 4870x2 For 350$ AFter MIR Is almost as good as 295GTX

according Benchmark Every Since Hd4000 Series Ati Own the Best Price for buck i mean ? if you spend 450$ For a 295GTX ? For 1 more frame to 5 more frame per second over a 350$ 4870x2 ? You know who win ? For Performances for prices Even now if 260GTX doesn't lower price. The 4870 1GB will simply Own it but 275GTX release to sort of Save it

But It not going well for nvidia right now And within September it a new War : ATI release 5870 : While within november : nvidia Release GTX300 And if GTx300 Doesn't Go As They Say I heard a 390GTX ? Around 2010 Q1 Which woudl be : 4 GPU into a Dual gpu card Setup i heard so ? SO you would have : Two Of those it would be Somewhat the Equivalent of Four 295GTX

but Again it would not really work as it say until the release of Lucid hydra 100's As it say it would take over 150% Performances boost Over the current X58 / NF 790 Ultra = possible to be Good But no FPS where given of such i think by This Summer Pre-benchmark or something showing FPs instead of % bar
