I have the PC version of HAWX and really like the game. But I cant seem to be able to turn assistance mode to off. I have tried expert mode and normal and in both modes when I press LCTRL it makes this annoying sound like its denying me. How can I disable this and dogfight in assistance OFF mode?
If the camera view changes from a 1st/3rd perspective to a profile, side view then you have successfully turned off assistance. To my knowledge, this is the ONLY way you can fly the jets without assistance.
If nothing happens after the sound plays and the voice over says "assistance off" or something similar, then you have perhaps found a glitch in the game. make sure you have it patched up.
Edit: Oh, it will deny you if you are in the training missions. You cannot switch assistance off until you either finish that part of the training mission or get out of the training maps altogether.
