Why do i enjoy runescape more than WoW?

For some reason i really like WoW, but i can't seem to get into it. And on top of that I enjoy runescape more than that game ( even though I don't really play runescape anymore, it's been a while ). I feel like I have a problem lmfao..Like whenever I used to play WoW, I'd always have a blast with friends, something you'd never find on runescape, but still i don't enjoy it as much? It doesn't make very much sense to me.

Can always just go back to playing Runescape. I found that there was more to do.

Because wow is pretty much Quest Quest Quest spank a pinnatta, more of a diablo directioned hand held MMO. whereas runescape is quite sandboxish.Birdy09

Runescape is more open; you can do whatever you want where as in WoW at the end you have to either raid or PVP. It also may have to do with the fact that it is a skill based MMO, as opposed to WoW which is class based. Skilled base MMO's allow you more freedom to do whatever you want, and let you play the game anyway you like it.shakmaster13

Some people don't even do combat in the game. There's over a hundred unique quests (you'll either love them or hate them), combat is only like 9 skills out of 29 I think. If you want to do combats, you just do bosses over and over (yes, the same ones. And I'm talking like hundreds of kills of the same thing.) And then there's pvp which is kinda what it used to be, but you don't get their items. Rules are similar to what they were like 3 or 4 years ago though.

Runescape was amazing the first time I tried it. I mean there were so many quests, items, skills, towns and locations.

RuneScape is a very good game, it's just that the combat needs tweaking and the community is rubbish.

but I do miss the old Runescape as you and other keep mentioning the old WoW.

RS's PvP is absolute crap compared to what it used to be. and they made a gigantic mess of imbalances with all of the newer weapons.

Its simple, yet theres so much to do. Its updates a heck of alot, theres been like 100 new quests since i last properly played, Seasonal updates and items, community events, (used to have) good pvp, good bosses, so much to do.

I eventually got bored of it and started making music videos and stuff for it, you'd be amazed at how big the video making community is

Good old Runescape. As someone said, there is so much stuff to do in that game, but it just gets boring after doing it over and over again. I haven't played it in a long time, though. I would say that WoW is the better game, but Runescape offers more bang for your buck.
