Its not really a game either. Its more like a virtual chat room. Imagine the GS forums but with 3D avatars running around (naked in the mature sections) a virtual world. I don't really see why its considered a game anyway. All you do is chat and if you have a paid subscription program custom skins, items, etc. There is no SP or story and no way to "win" or anything.
I have a solution to this situation... People, start looking at "Titan Quest", its a cool game, needs a bigger online community because its a really good game, and lastly looking at this might bump second life from 1st and 2nd to 3rd or even off the list (=
because the game is so damn funny. i dont buy things on it or do anything really i get on once a while and fly around and see what stupid crap someone has created or hopefully i stumble upon a meeting of some sort so i can listen to the most nerdy people ever talk
I would say that SL is not a "game" now, it is called metaverse, the virtual relity space, according to what I know, this may be the next generation world wide web, pretty big:-)

Google seems to have some interest in buying this metaverse, not sure if this is true....Â
i was thinking of trying it about a year ago, but i figured the regristration process wasn't even worth it... (the only reason i got interested in it in the first place is PC Gamer seems to love the game...)

 Pretty much what it comes down to..... Most people download it thinking it's going to be a regular MMORPG, then get pissed and say it sucks without spending more than 5 minutes in it.  Â
i watched a show on foxtal about 2 weeks ago about mmo rpgs and they used up 30min just talking about that game
that people throw there savings in the game usen real money to make homes and shops to sell there crap they were talking about one guy who spend 200k real money morgage his house to buy a shopping center and some homes and made his money back in a year
 its nerds vill 2006 lol ....fps all the way! huxely will be kinda like that but with lots of fpshooting i heard you can rent rooms buy homes and go to bars to meet people type train rides around the citys buy black smith type huts to make guns that people buy off you and other semi nerdy stuff  buttttttt there is heaps of shooting
