Ugh..... What I want to know is why there's a sudden interest for fighting games on the PC? I swear I've seen at least a dozen threads asking the same question this week alone..... WTF? :| Anyways it's simple.... Fighting games need controllers, the only possible way one would succeed these days is if it came bundled with a *good* controller to play the game on... On top of that it would probably have to be under $30 just to attract more people. It's just much easier to make it for a console and slap on a $60 price tag.

Because you pretty much have to use a controller and games companies have always been funny about releasing games that require a controller on PC. Its the same reason there is a lack of decent racing and sports games on PC compared to console apart from EA sports games.

Would be great to have some decent fighting games on PC though like Fight Night.

Teeken 3 and SoulCalibur 2 should be ported to pc. those two owned. The later tekkens are rubbish tho. And somebody NEEDS to remake Super Punch Out!!

Ya me too. The last good boxing game on the pc was 4D Boxing...and that game is old. Although, I really dont care anymore and quit hoping for boxing games to be released on the PC. I recently got an XBox 360 and Fight Night, so my boxing needs have now been met :)

i refuse to believe that a consumer considering a $40 fight night, tekketn, or vf game on the pc (if they ever came out) would put it back on the shelf because they didn't want to spend $20 on a controller.  those are big name franchises with world-wide recognition.

only the hardcore pirate would btch and moan about buying a $20-30 controller.

-edit-

oh, and 4d boxing ftw.  my favorite boxing game of all time.

I actually think if they were on the PC they wouldn't sell very well. Better to play those type of games on a console if you ask me. The console controlers rumble plus it's better than sitting at your Pc desk with a controller in your hands.
