Why did you delayed Assassin's Creed for PC?
I wanna play it so bad.... I hope they'll optimize it
well and we won't get a crappy port.....

Probably for just that reason: to make it run better on PC. I don't see any other rational reason to delay the game's release, other than to try and get back the huge amount of pc gamers they lost after GRAW and Double Agent. Ubisoft is, so they claim, attempting to re-establish itself as a major PC publisher.
How is it going to sell a huge name game like FarCry 2 if no one trusts them. This is their chance to get back in our good books, and I think they're going to try hard for it.
After all, it's what makes them money, so why wouldn't they?

i think they delayed due to the TITLES specially CRYSIS and COD 4 except this there are many hot tiltes on november that`s y they delayed to 08
I think its for a number of reasons and money probally plays a big part :), for one they probally want people to buy the higher priced console version first, like people have said theres also a lot of big PC games are coming out november so they may want a bigger slice of the pie so to speak. Then theres the getting it right issue.
