Well since you didn't give us information on what you like. Neither. Get Big Rigs. Probably the best game ever invented.

Out of those two COH....

It has an expansion out though and if you want a decent amount of people to play online you will need the expansions as well, the problem with the expansion though is it is pretty poorly balanced at the moment.

If I was you I would goto direct2drive LINK and buy Supreme Commander with it's expansion Forged Alliance for 60 bucks, Supcom is the best RTS out right now with it's expansion as it fixed the originals problems and then some.

The game has more depth then any RTS ever made, extreme variation in scale, you can play a tiny maps to maps the size of Rhode island literally. It has the best balance for an RTS outside of starcraft. Other then the extreme variation in map sizes it has a number of features that can allow you to choose from having anywhere from a short fast game to a long slow game. Features like pre-built bases to make the game start real fast off the line, or the no rush option that allows you to stay safe till the clock hits whatever time you wanted the battle to comense.

The online interface is also the best in RTS online to date with numerous built in features like the mod,map and replay vault that allow you to easily access all the latest and most popular game downloads. A fantastic ranking system if you want to play competitively, literally DAILY tournaments are hosted for fun and sometimes for prizes/money.

Out of those two I'd go with CoH just because it has a great single player.

well, if u looking for and easy going RTS where u just select unit and blow stuff up and look pretty, dont require lot of skill and just wanna have fun. WIC is way to go.

Or if u looking for rts that got lot of depth, require lot of skill in micro, understand how unit work and babysit each unit cause 1 wrong move u would lose

for me, i have both game and but COH is still my favorite

WiC is a solid introduction to the RTS genre. It's easy to get into and is simplistic.

Or you can get CoH for a more hardcore and dynamic experience.
