WiC or Supreme Commander

ok i am not sure if there is a thread like this one. but im kinda confused. i have played wic beta and i have to say its pretty amazing. now i have the cash i can get 1 game it can be either Wic or supreme commander. if i buy wic it will only be for multiplayer and if i get supreme commander it will be for...well single player. so im not sure which one to get. i recently got a pirated copy of supreme commander frm my best mate but it didnt work for some reaseon. i went on forums and all. most of them said tht u needed 2 gb of ram or more..well i have 2 gb of ram but im not sure if the original will work on my pc. well for those of u who want to knw my config, its something like this. e6550, 8800gt, 2 gb ram.

so which one should i get.

Neither.. get Company of Heroes

WiC.. i loved the single player campaign but not a fan of the skirmish.

Supreme Commander.. its just too big. You make a massive army to attack and it just gets slaughtered by base defenses.. its all about the experimental units which just smash everything in sight.

supreme commander is pretty fun single player, if you like to turtle you can get 3+ hours on the final missions for each of the factions, it will last you quite sometime and you amass huge armies. Then you can just hit up some skirmishes with different maps and AI settings that can also last ages. If you liked WiC then go for it though, just depends on what type of RTS you want to play- resources + turtling + buildings or teamwork + hectic + fast paced

That just proves the fact that SupCom is a real RTS. Maybe you should try it again, but try with more tactical perspective now? There is no sense marching your army against endless lines of point defense turrets. Try to find a weak spot in your opponents defenses, or use artillery to break his PD lines. If he hasn't got AA, then attack with gunships. If he has AA, then just shoot the PD turrets and AA turrets. I should also note that it isn't all about experimentals. Again, don't try to destroy Galactic Colossus with a land army. Hit it with air units like Strategic Bombers since it is its weak spot. It has no AA. You just need to figure out the given units weakness and exploit them. ;)
