They're all the same, all equally likely to be DOA. XFX has best warranty though.

Hi I have had both Sapphire and HIS brand cards with ATI Chipsets.

They worked fine with no issues. For Nvidia chipsets I have had Diamond,

EVGA,and Asus. I don't think you can go wrong with any company because

if they produced bad products they wouldn't be in business long. There is

a lot of competition in computer part markets. However some brands feature

better cooling solutions on some models of video cards.

Aha.I think i'll go with the HIS,a lot of people say it's a good brand, and i could not find anything relevant to Gigabyte's quality.

I had a 5870 Sapphire with a bad fan, returned for a HIS. I dont know if that really means anything. They look identical minus the stickers..

Just get the one with best goodies. LOL

They are the same unless they have a custom cooler, or custom pcb. I'd say any of these three. Sapphire is the favorite of most users. HIS always wins in the cooling department. XFX just recently moved to ATI that is why they have very few products. And they offer dual lifetime warranty.

I'm quite happy with my XFX, it seems well constructed so that components on the card can't be easily damaged through physical handling. Also a great card overall and have mine overclocked from 625/993 to 700/993. Unfortunately couldn't overclock the memory with stablility.

sapphire warranty has something left to be desired although its price generally justifies the purchase. XFX has the best warranty but has a higher price. I currently own a sapphire card and it works fine but I hope to god it doesn't break down because then, I have to pay for the warranty service fee and also have to ship it to hong kong with my own money in order to get it looked at in the following couple of month.
