Widescreen options for Gaming

Hey guys anyone know a link or command or application that allows you to do widescreens for non widescreen games. Boiling Point in particular. Ive recently started playing it after i found it in my cuboard laying there since 2005 or so. Its actually a pretty cool game.

Now i know you can find a app called UNiWS that allows you to change the res. But it seems only for certain games. Here's what i have found sofar http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php?title=Downloads

So anyone have any leads as to how to get games to go widescreen pls help ;)

Boiling Point does support widescreen.. try installing the patch.

I am running it currently on a 22in widescreen at  1680x1050

It maybe that your vid card doesn't support it..
