Will a 7950 be able to to crossfire with a 6950?

Unless they do something different, Different gen cards cant crossfire.

Even if one gen could crossfire with the next (which doesn't work most times) why would you want to do a 7950 and a 6950? You'd probably rather do a 6950 and a 7850.

The only "cross generational" crossfire that they have supported is the 5770 and 6770, but those are basically just rebadges. And I don't actually know anyone with that setup, so I can't comment on how good it is.
