WTF, why are you spreading such lies? :|

The 9800gtx doesnt even use the complete bandwith of the pci-e x16 slot. So if it will run perfectly on both slots.

I said it was an estimate, the 9800GTX he's getting is a PCI 2.0. read the post's!

There is a estimate in performance, but with some luck you may gain 1-3% extra performance when using pci-e 2.0 not 25-35% as you said.

2.0 is backwards compatible with 1.0. It depends on the game or application the less ram available on the gpu means more fetching ,and in some cases you can see a 2 to 15 fps increase already this gap will widen in the future with higher res textures but only if they cant be stored on the gpu. You would be better of with a 1gig version.

That is not an estimate at all. A 9800gtx will not see any real performance loss. I've seen benchmarks that actually show pcie 1.0 as being faster, which just shows that 1.0 vs 2.0 is statistically unimportant as far as performance goes. At least for single GPU cards, and for current cards. Maybe "next gen" cards will show an actual performance loss, but it won't be 35%...

Theres no video card that is not a dual GPU card on one board that is close to achieving the max throughput of PCIe 1.0
