One of my other P4 pcs has 1 gb of RAM running on Vista.
If I add another 400mhz gig, will I see a difference in gaming, or anything at all?

Depends which game, but yes you should notice a difference, especially with Vista as 2 GB seems to be the sweet spot for Vista.

Also does anybody here know the thing in vista where you can use a flashdrive as RAM? Has anybody used it with success? By succes I mean noticed a difference in speeds, because RAM should make your PC faster.

Definetly, especially for games. Anybody want to buy 2 * 512MB dimms? :D (DDR2-800 5-5-5-18-23 only 2+ months old)

On Vista definately pop in some extra RAM. Vista is a pig for that stuff. On DDR it is advisable to go with the 400's. I got 1.5 GB on XP and it makes a huge difference.

Readyboost will help out alot too.
