BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger Coming To PC
badtaker
Q1 2010 for PS3 and xbox360? that's strange.... it's already out on the consoles a few months back.
How do you folks play fighting games for PC, with an XBOX 360 controller?kraychik
Most likely, yes, this is what many people do I, however, use a Madcatz Standard Edition Fightstick for anything fighting. so far the only fighting game i have played on the PC has been MUGEN, but now my favorite Fighting game is coming to PC? Im so happy.... I love Blazblue.
Bear in mind that Capcom released pretty much all of its games on the PC thus far, not everything, but close.
Street Fighter IV is not the first Capcom game on the PC and certainly won't be the last.
I built it myself out of an old Gauntlet Dark Legacy arcade cabinet I got off of Ebay for about $350 (plus $50 to rent a Ryder truck to haul that 680lb beast home). I went back and forth on hardware and configuration figuring out how I was going to make it work, but I eventually settled on an Intel MicroATX motherboard with a q6600 (I think) and somehwere between 2 and 4 gig of Corsair DDR2. The monitor is a replacement of the EGA monitor the cabinet had originally (it was a Gauntlet Legends game that had been converted to Dark Legacy with the commercial conversion kit). The new monitor is an SVGA 800x600 Wells Gardner D9400 27" arcade monitor. I completely gutted the original game (mainboard, power supply, mounting hardware and hard drive) and replaced it with the PC mainboard. Speakers are a 2-speaker Bose kit.
The controller is a custom fabricated 4-player kit from Mameroom.com (they changed their name recently, but that URL still works). Players 1 and 2 are standard Happ 8-way joysticks with 7 Happ standard microswitch buttons each (6 for Capcom-style games with an extra "4th" button the bottom row for Neo Geo style games) and players 3 and 4 have Ultimarc magnetic "analog" joysticks with 6 buttons each. Not in that picture is a 3" trackball for Golden Tee style games. Next on my list I'm planning on getting a spinner for Arkanoid style games and a pair of light guns.
If anyone would like to know more about how I did this or are interested in doing their own, let me know.
