will crysis 2 have dx10 suppot? I have a geforce 285 and i really would really like the game to take advantage of what the card can do. I know its got DX9 and is being patched day 1 with DX11. but what about DX10?!

I'm not sure why it wouldn't considering the first one did.Agent_Kaliaver:lol: Yeah, well i am not sure why its ONLY dx9 on launch and "suposelly" they will patch up dx11 later. Needless to say it will hardly change anything and it will be as gimmicky as running capcom's games from the dx10 launcher
Real question should be, will it use dx10/11 effects? If it runs in dx10/11 and looks exactly like dx9 then what's the point of adding dx11? And th answer to that question is, do consoles support dx10/11 effects? Which needless to say, they do not, so even if there's an option to run it in dx11 i dont expect it to look any better.

Still same company developing a sequel that is most likely using a lot of the same stuff as the first... Also add all the games that have been developed for console that support dx10 on the pc.Please Log In to post.
