I'm hoping to be building my first computer and I was wondering if DDR2 667 would work in this motherboard.  I'm on a tight budget and don't want to spend the extra money if I don't have to.  The memory that I want to put in it is 240-pin DDR 667 (PC5300), if it helps.  Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't say yes so easily. In most cases, it will clock itself down to work in the motherboard but sometimes it can also cause errors. If you want to be safe, look for RAM that is the speed specified on your motherboard. If you can't then try your luck and hope it works fine. Usually does but again, it can cause errors.
