Hey my pc uses windows xp but under where the sticker says windows xp it says windows vista compatiable, just something bugging me and i kinda wanna know, im not any hardcore pc gamer just wanna check and see if it works

No the game is Vista only.

There's a workaround, Google it if you are interested. Unfortunately the game is only officially supported for Vista (and Windows 7 too I guess).

I thought Halo 2 online is done for, unless that doesn't effect the pc version

The work around is quite easy. All it really is is replacing a file, and bam it works. If you can read instructions you should be able to do it.

Though you won't be able to play online.

There's a XP patch available but you have to find it yourself.

Don't think it works officially for Windows 7. There is a way to do it, but it takes a while.

It works for Windows XP if you find the workaround but you won't be able to play online. Officially it only supports Vista and above.
