Because that seems insane. 4gb vram? really? My gtx 780 has around 3gb. id tech 5 has to be the worst game engine in recent memory

anyone get any advanced copies with performance breakdowns? it will seriously piss me off if my card, which is usually over kill on much prettier games, would have issues with this

I think it will be fine, my 7850 nearly maxed Watch Dogs at Ultra. Just had to tone AA down.

Shadow of Mordor also had the 4GB of VRAM recommended spec on it, and it turned out to be a flat out lie even with everything maxed out. So I can't imagine you wont be able to max it at least at the 30 FPS it will be locked at.

I wouldn't make assumptions until the game comes out. The requirements for Shadow of Mordor turned out to be bs, but Evil Within could be a different story.

id already f&cked things up with their last game - Rage, so I wouldn't know until it really comes out, if they do think that their game is special and GTX780 wouldn't run it on max graphics on 30 fps I don't know what to say anymore about game devs.

LOL if you cant max out everything on 1080p, there is a huge optimisation problem, or pc version will be the next crysis which i doubt so

Its in 1280x720 (so 720p as my TV sucks) most the settings are ultra and a couple are high. Its an overclocked 2gb 7850 , so its performance is slightly above stock 7870.
