I purchased a Asus g60vx 4gb ram, core duo 2.13ghz, nvidia geforce gtx 260m 1gb. It is a decent laptop but the games that have been released in 2011 can only run at low specs. The thing that hurts the most is that it has only been a year since I brought it. I feel like that black lady on the best buy commercial.....WTF. I am able to upgrade the ram to 8gb but don't want to waste money. please help.

That upgrade wouldn't help at all! The processor will remain average for gaming.

Besides, 4GB is already a good amount for gaming.

It's the GPU that is holding you back. The 260m is decent for a laptop but basically very lowend for any desktop.
It's a $60-$70 GPU, aka GT430 at slower clocks.

Nah not worth it, no amount of RAM will help a CPU perform better, it's a good laptop i'll give you that i would like one myself after checking it out on google but for modern games you're probably better just limiting startup programs and processes for optimal performance in games.
