I've been looking over the Samsung 23" LED Syncmaster S23A750D, a 120hz TN monitor. It has two ports, one for an HDMI cable and another for a DisplayPort cable. It can only run in 60hz if you use and HDMI cable.

The problem is that the graphics card I'm going to buy doesn't have a DisplayPort connector but it does have two mini DisplayPort connectors. So I'm wondering wether or not the monitor will be able to run in 120hz if use a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable instead of a regular DisplayPort cable.

Any got a clue?

But there are no 120hz IPS. TNs also have less input lag and lower response times.
