my specs

AMD athlon ll x2 245 oc3.11GHz

4gb RAM

1gb 4650 xfx

i dont have enough money to upgrade my gfx card so will upgrading my CPU to a quad make a performance difference in gaming.

Unless its a really cpu intensive game, no it wont make a big a difference as a new gpu. I suggest you save up.

is 5770 good enough for gaming at max. will the cpu bottleneck the gpu.i play mostly the latest games like crysis 2,dirt 2 and will surely get dirt 3 when it releases,shift 2.are these games cpu intensive.

what is your screen resolution, and for those games, the gpu is def more important. And no your cpu shouldnt bottleneck a 5770.

about the only thing better is an hd 5830 or 6770 at its price tag

the 6770 is a 5770 with more functionality and it runs cooler

the 5830 is better in every way but it requires additional power
