Will MadCatz/ Tritton repair the little tiny prongs that connect to the amp box? They are like butter and came off without me knowing since it was too hard to put an arrow showing which way to insert the plug. I'm very frustrated as I just got these for Christmas. Thanks in advance.

You mean this plug? :?

Its got some pretty clear markings and shape, anyways I don't really know what they'll do for you. I mean they already have your money. Take a look at the warranty since you got them not long ago, I'm sure you can work something out or call them up.

It makes me angry just looking at it. I don't understand why it's so damn fragile. Take care of it man. 3 pins fell out and there went the surround sound. Can't even hear footsteps in Black Ops. I will try to call them, see if something gets worked out. If not, they can burn in hell. Thanks for at least knowing what i was talking about. I appreciate it.

Oh I don't own them, that was a google picture I found. I would take offense to such a statement :P... Seriously I advise people to avoid those types of brands as they are overpriced, low quality and full of gimmicks. Take it from me, next time around go with an audiophile company. Anyways best of luck, if I'm not mistaken there is a 1-800 number you can call. Never hurts to inquire, and try to be nice on the phone. (Unless they say no, then to hell with them indeed).

I dunno how Triton's customer service is after MadCatz bought them out. Before that when I was still an audio n00b (Still am...just not as much as before,) I had the AX360s, the version before the AX Pros. The wires got yanked right out but customer service was really cool about it. Got an RMA and another free mic. I did have to call again, the first guy basically said "Oh well you're fault buy another pair cause we don't cover that." The wires are extremely thin though, like 5 dollar earbud thin. 2nd guy understood and got the RMA immediately.

dont take this the wrong way but why dont you ask THEM? ... surely they would know if they're going to repair it for you better than anyone here would do

I asked this around the time their custom service isn't available. And I rather get a straight answer from someone might know for sure before I go waste my time talking to someone i might be yelling at. Thanks for all the replies people.

anyways they sent me a new pair without much hassle. not the best headphones, but they are pretty good for console headphones.

im not sure if they have audiophile head phones fot the consoles. these sound good for gaming and voice chat, and work for both the 360 and ps3.

:| Any headphone can work with consoles, in some cases an adaptor is required.

what about the mic? i know some people use seinheisers along with an additional usb microphone, but that isnt as convenient as using headphones with a detachable mic.

Any 3.5mm mic works with a 2.5mm adapter for 360 or a USB adapter for PS3.

so you'll need a separate mic and a separate headset?

Yerp. The recommended one is a Zalman mic you can find on Amazon. Has a really long cord though.
