I have an old Dell laptop that used to run Windows 98' but i updated it so it runs XP. Im not sure if this is important, but its a Latitude D610.

So, when I play a game like L4D or Prototype will it runs full speed or slow.

I'm sorry but I don't know how to look up any other info about my computer.

well if you bought it loaded with windows 98 then that was a decade ago and you probably can't play anything. We really need to know your specs but I wouldn't even bother buying a pc game because there is very little chance it will run on an 11 year old laptop.

i dont think its 11 years old i think it was built around 2003. Theres a sticker on it saying "Designed for Windows XP". Its just used to have 98' loaded on it.

 The computer most likely would commit suicide if he loaded it with Vista. Anyways, simple way to check your specifications. Open the start menu, click Run, and in the dialog box that pops up just type dxdiag and click run. The window that pops up will tell you the base specifications like RAM, Processor, etc. Then you can click the display tab to find what graphics card you've got, though I'm guessing at onboard. You can also go to System Requirements Lab's website, and run a test of the games your interested in.
