I have a AcerAX3950 Which has 220 Watt PS, And im thinking of upgrading to this video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127611. Will my computer be able to handle this power supply with battlefield 3 at medium or high settings?

One of the feedbacks said they had a 220 PS and it ran 50-60 FPS on low

The kind of hardware you have on that PC...a person would have to be mad to use a 220 W ps while adding a dedicated graphics card. You need something adequate, like 450 at least, I can't believe Acer paired that hardware with such a power supply, even without a graphics card, unless I found the wrong specs (i3 540, 4 gigs of RAM and 500 HDD).

Well it's a good custom computer start pack, you just have to get a case, video card, and PSU

Anyway, that video card is not very good. You'll probably be able to run it on low-medium. the psu is a joke and should be replaced if you intend to start pc-gaming on a higher level.

Won't be playable at all. A 50 bucks card won't run BF3 half decently, let alone such an underpowered PSU. Also, resolution matters, so perhaps you can play medium at 1024x768...

Why do people ask questions then argue when they don't like the answers they're getting?

Yes it is possible...
One of my friend's cousin...saw a friend of his uncle...writing a message to an old friend of his, in which he described how a friend of a friend from his childhood was in the same room with a guy...and that guy's brother ran a gtx690 on AAA battery's...
So yeah...FACT!

Heh i know this topic is old guys, but i did get to run the card (6570) and i even got to run the 7750 and im running with no problems on BF4 beta at 50fps 1080p low. The final game would be even more optimized.

Still think it's risky on a 220w but whatever. Guess it must have a pretty low power CPU too.
