I couldnt get DOOM3 or F.e.a.r. Comcat/ F.e.a.r. to Install. I also couldnt patch BattleField 2.
I had a problem patching BF2. The problem was that I would click the patch and I just would not opne. If this is the problem for you what your should do i click on them and just wait. It opens soon enough.

AoE3 and HL2 work perfectly from my experience. Heck, age of empires 2 works great =P I get 999 fps in that game! =P ;) :D

Haha, I get bored and hit up adobe photoshop from time to time. Next week I'll probably start working on a "permanent" sig. I just wanted to give Corsair the props they deserve this week :)
some games work on vista, others dont. If you want to circumvent this problem, reformat your hard drive, and have a dual boot configuration if you are not getting a new PC

yes, a huge hit! CSS test I scored 112 on XP and 68 on Vista. AAx4/AFx8 on XP-AAx4/AFx2 on Vista
HL2 doesnt run for me. doesnt make it to the menu after the intros.TheDarthvader
half life 2 closes on me, after I hit the .exe or click on it on Steam. Stupid Vista! :P
AND YES, Source games have a huge hit on Vista. like I said. went from 112 fps down to 68fps FOR ME.
In some other games ive played on both, performence inscreased..Far Cry, Oblivian, Stalker(very odd). F.e.a.r. Extraction point demo ran a lot worse, as well as CSS, HL2 Deathmatch, BF2.
