Will programs like Itunes slow my games down

i want to know, if programs you download would slow down games and bring the FPS down, they wouldnt be running while i play the game, but im just wondering if it would effect my games at all?

Shouldn't unless your hard drive runs out of virtual memory, and also your hard drive loses it's efficiency as it becomes filled up, the inner part of the disc is slower than the outer piece. It writes from Out to Inner, so the more it get's filled up, the inner data runs slower. But it probably isn't noticeable. And to answer your question, no. (Itunes is only like 100 megs, which is actually a lot, but it's apple, bloated software) It will only slow your pc down if it's running.
