I think they will since it is the last Microsoft AAA (and really, the only one that matters) still unavaiable on the PC. They likely wanted to wait a little bit after Halo 5's street date and release it when sales began to become static. A PC release will trigger a new flood of buyers, and that's what Microsoft wants. And certainly, to play the superior, 1440p or 4K version of Halo 5.

I never understood the hype for Halo.

Played part 1 on PC and felt like a generic boring FPS to be honest.

I liked the multiplayer, and certainly the story.

First off, Halo 5 is not very good and I don't see how it would get a GOTY edition. Also, Phil Spencer was pretty clear that they have no plans of bringing Halo 5 to PC. Halo 6 will be on PC though and hopefully it is a lot better.

That is exactly what halo is, its popularity took off due to its multiplayer. I personally don't like the multiplayer but that's due to me being into tactical shooters.

It's the gunplay, the map design. Halo does it's own thing. It plays great with twin sticks. I'm not sure how that would translate on PC but i would like to find out. I hope it gets a PC release.

I'd much rather get the Master Chief Collection on PC. I love the Halo games but I don't own an X1 and can't justify buying another console. Having all the previous Halo games available on PC would be great.

Same here, I played first Halo back in 2004 and I found it incredibly boring. I just don't get why it has so many fans (to each his own, I guess).
