It will for sure. Only problem with it is, the video card memory. Only 320mb. A person should really try for 512 these days. But if you can settle for things on medium, you'll be fine. But if your pc can run crysis on medium, chances are you can run anything for about 2-3 years on medium/high.

But as a poster has said, you could probably build that pc at a fraction of the price. Then again, you may not know how.

video card memory means nothing. The 640 MB version of that card is barely better then the 320 MB version.

Seems like a lot of money for what you are getting... go look at some 1920x1200 res benchmarks and tell me video memory doesn't matter.

Oh, but it does. When you turn on higher texters on crysis, it needs more video memory. Do you know why at first, doom 3 couldn't run on very high without a hitch? It was because it needed 512 video memory to load all of its textures into. Computers could still run it, but the screen would pause every now and then trying to load everything.

Your videocard will be sufficient to play crysis. Having more VRAM will make it more resistant to future proofing.

Yes, the 640 mb and 320 mb have identical performance, but not until you reach 1920x1200 res. and have AA and AF on. 320 mb version dips a lot in perf.

What resolution are you planning to run crysis?

Vram bickering aside, that system is a terrible value. I built mine for about $1050 and it would outperform that one by quite a bit.

Go to avadirect and configure a computer with an E6750, an 8800GT (NOT GTS), and a good p35 motherboard.

buy all your parts online then go to a local computer shop and get them to build it for you for a small fee.

it'll still be cheaper then what you'd get prebuilt

Even on lower resolutions, the 320MB and 640MB starts separating when you put up more AA.And just check out gamespot's crysis hardware guide. The 640MB at stock beat the XXX edition of 320MB bt 11 frames.

I checked on most benchmarks, including reliable ones like from anandtech, and the 320 mb and 640 mb perform extaclt the same, its only until you hit reolsution aobve 1920x1200 that you will see a difference/

Hmm not really. On cod4 with 4xAA on 16x12 the difference 8-9 fps with the 640MB never dropping below 33 but the 320MB dropping to 26 which will make a huge impact as you wont notice much at 33 but you will at 26.I bet if they had done 4xaa at 12x10 the difference would still be there.

In crysis at 12x10 with no AAa stock640MB GTS is 9fps ahead of an XXX 320MB GTS which isaBIG difference in crysis.

http://www.gamespot.com/features/6182806/p-5.html

Without AA there is not much difference bteween the 2 cards.
