Ok, i recently upgraded my parents pc with 2 gb of ram (it had less than .5gb) and i added a graphics card. Its a 6 year old pc so I knew that it was the processor that is giving me the problems.

But im wondering if this laptop will give me 60fps all the time in WoW.. or can you recommend a cheap laptop that will? Another option i was gonning to go with is a custom pc off of ibuypower i heard gamer paladins are pretty good.. any help/ opinions are greatly appreciated :D

GMA 4500 may be the best intel IGP but it still sucks for gaming. WoW might run fine though. If you can find a lappy with a hd3200 or 3300 chipset or a nvidia 9200 or 9300 (those are integrated graphics too) but will eat alive a gma 4500 from intel.

Well, I don't know a whole lot about intel chipsets, but I do know that they aren't all that great. Check this one out...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115540

It has a 9600m. You should be able to max out the game with 40-60fps. Depending on where you are. I have a 9600gt in my desktop. And thats about what I get. Usually I get more fps. But laptop graphics are slower.

Also, this laptop doesn't have a blu-ray player, don't know if that was important or not...

Thanks for the adivce guys! I kind of thought that intel graphics cards sucked... lol. That laptop seems to sound good from customer reviews.. but i was wondering how well this one would run it really well? I know its hard to estimate how many fps itll get with wow but this is the best place to get taht info! lol

I can run Half Life 2/ CS:source max graphics on my laptop at 1280x800 with an intel gma3100. Max graphics without AA and like only billenear antisotropic filtering.... but still. Pretty sweet for just an integrated card!!!! I didn't even expect to be able to play half life 1 with this pc let alone half life 2 lol. I have a t5450 processory if you wanted to know....

runs hl2 at like 30fps... wow is probably much more demanding though.

Yeah, that should run fine. Check out this youtube video below, its the only one I could find of someone playing WoW on HD 3200.

It looks pretty smooth. Especially since he's riding around on that horse.:)

not a high settings and mixed medium high settings. You could get 60fps on medium low mix setting tho.

I suggest at least a 9500m if u want to play wow on high settings, that card will get around 30fps on high.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9600M-GT.9449.0.html

theres a link to a laptop graphics card list/benchamrks from best to worest graphics card for games.

the card i linked specifically in that link will play wow at max at 60fps at a 1368x720 resolution. (sorry odd resolution but thats what my bud games at lol.)
