Hi i am looking for a laptop for when i start college but i will want to use it for some gaming aswell. Such as CSS and mainly...WoW. Here are the specs:

Intel core 2 duo 2ghz

4 gig ram

Ati mobility 3450 256mb

Can you please tell me if and how it will run world of warcraft and, if you can reccommend another laptop for around £600-£700, maybe even 750 max. Ty :D

I used to run WoW on similar specs, and the CPU was a bottleneck at areas; I used to run the game at tweaked max at 1280x1024, which was solid 60fps until really heavy areas such as Shattrah (or whatever the main hub is in WotLK, not played it) where it dropped down to 40fps.

That's nothing bad, I'm just a perfectionist and hate frame drops :3 So i'd go ahead and get that laptop if it fills your other needs.

CSS will run fine too. The graphics card is a bit weaksauce but it will run it at more than acceptable detail/fps.

I bought a 2.0Ghz dual core processor about 2 years ago so it's getting behind times really. But almost any computer can run WoW really :3 I'd go with the 2.4Ghz one yeah, if you have the option to, just to be a little future proofed.
