Will this run the likes of Borderlands, Assasins Creed, Stalker, Metro 2033, Crysis, WoW max settings and all that? Or would I be wasting my money?

It's not that bad. I honestly don't recommend buying dual core processors anymore though. Go with something with a quad core in it. Especially if you want to play a game like Metro 2033. The other games would run pretty good but not maxed out.

It will run them, but you won't get the best graphics.

Memory is fine, get a better CPU and GPU, you're better off building a PC yourself.

This... As long as you don't put on 5 pairs of socks and then walk around a carpeted house rubbing your feet on the floor, building a computer now is remarkebly simple...

Go to the pc hardware forum and look at the stickied building guide there....

Id recommend going to Cyberpower directly rather than buying a Cyberpower system from New Egg..

Yeah I agree. That said, MOST games will run fine on a fast dual core processor just fine, but there are a few right now that demand more, and why not future proof your rig?

LOL at your socks comment and your sig :P. Yeah building a computer is quite easy (although some cases and parts make things difficult, but thats rare) to do if you just know the basics. Way better price to performance no doubt. The only reason I wouldnt reccomend building your own computer, is because then there is no company to go crying to whenever it has a problem. That said, I have never had any serious problems and I am not extra careful or anything. I see other people (not gamers or anything) constantly having problems and I have no frikkin clue what they do to their poor PC lol.

Most definitely go for a quad core nowadays. Also, the GPU may be too weak for some resolutions.

If money is an issue, leave the Cpu alone, it's not bad, you can worry about upgrading it in a year or two, and ditch that GPU. Spend $225 on the HD6870 or $180 for a 5850/5830 or a GTX 460. That will make your system into a nice gaming rig.

$75-100 goes a long way nowdays. Ditch that CPU and get an Athlon x4 ( if you dont afford then stay with that its decent ) Theb ditch that 5450 ( demanding games it will barely run them on low ) and go for at least a 5750 even better choice would be 5770 or even better 6850 or GTX460 but if you dont have the money a 5750 is a great choice and is 4-5 times faster than that 5450 ( and thats been modest ) If you wanna save some money buy a 320gb HD ( save $10-15 ), Ditch the keyboard and mouse to save $15-20 ( use your old ones until you have money to buy a new set ) and finally ditch the DVD/CD drive and use the one on the pc you are replacing ( save about $15-20 )

I'd say never buy a assembled gaming rig, those companies rip you off. it's much better if you built it yourself, and much more fun.
