My PC is complete crap and I can run WoW at a fair speed, that rig will be completely fine. But it seems a bit overpriced, try PCspecialist.co.uk (I think that's the website) they're good for PC's, you could probably build one up on there with about the same specs for around 600 pounds (they build it for you by the way so you don't have to do any of that). Shame they suck for laptops though since that's what I'm after =p

Umm...if you're trying to show off, it's not working.

To answer your question, yes, it will run very smoothly.

That rig will eat and spit out WoW!

But for a graphics card the 4870 performs better and costs less than the 260GTX......so yeah.

That setup would run 5 or more instances of wow maxed out flawlessly :)

Yes, that rig will run WoW flawlessly.

What is up with people using WoW as their benchmark and feel the need to have an absurdly powerful PC to run it. It's an old game with crappy graphics.

Well the graphics are not bad,,,they are very well stylized.

But you are correct, if he is just planning on playing WoW he would be better off getting slightly cheaper parts then getting a really good network card like the NIC Killer which has its own tiny processor running a type of linux that helps reduce lag during online play.

If i was you i would save my money on all those top notch components and just get a NIC Killer Network card and a Massive monitor! A big screen would make a much bigger difference than a fast CPU if you only play WoW.

honestly mate, WoW is not a system hog. A laptop could run WoW (with not high detail but could still run) Its not wow you should be benchmarking with that rig, its crysis, world in conflict and so forth. WoW is nothing.. amazing game, but graphicly its not thing.

First Wow then Crysis...they are kind of different ends of the system requirements spectrum! Well if you want to play crysis you will need a really good card like a 4870 or something.

You could run wow fine with a geforce 8400gs and a pentium iv.
