Will This Work with my m/b?

Ey guys

My hdd and cd drive jsut died due to my ps killing itself

Im planning on upgrading my system in 2-4 months time now anything i buy i want to carry over, basically what i want to know is it this hardware will work with the latest m/b's in 2-4 months time and if it will run on my current m/b. Im currently using ide on my m/b but it has sata and im a noob with it so im unsure if these will run

(This i just want it to run even if it runs at 500gb 250gb 100gb atvm when i upgrade i should then be able to use the 1tb)

If there is something else you recommend or they wont run on my m/b, but on newwer ones just post it i may just have to buy some throw away junk in the interium then
