Will Vista 32 bit recognize and use 4gb memory?

Or should I order 64 bit to be safe to use with 4gbs of ram.

Oh, probably going to have to get 64 bit I just hope everything works ok with the kernel code(which I don't get) and compatability.

you wont get more than 3.3gb ram with any 32bit os, get win7 64bit rc runs way better than vista and the release of the final is in October.

The problem is I don't have the computer parts yet so I won't have my computer made in time before july to download the beta.

Yes he is correct your OS wont recognize more than like 3.3G of RAM. But im in the same boat when it come to making the switch to 64bit i dont know if i should go with vista or not. ive always ran off XP.

There is nothing wrong with vista 64bit (ive had it for awhile and never had any problems) and if you get it now you can just upgrade for free to windows 7 anyway, just get 64-bit unless you know for sure that you will be using some old programs.
