Will we ever get duke nukem forever? :(

I have been waiting a long time for this game.... been in development for what 10 years? Just wondering if anybody knows if it will actually be released or if its just going to be in development until I die.

I think it will be released.. it's a brand.. it's like a Paris Hilton, sooner or later there will be less and less originialities and more brand digging.. like dungeon keeper, populous... you know the old stuff.. to ensure sales

I doubt todays generation of mainstream gamers has much interest in Duke Nukem, and I wouldn't be surprised if the franchise is entirely scrapped. The game never really had a story and has probably lost most of it's cult following by not releasing new games (unlike the Doom or Wolfenstein series').

It hasn't been canceled. At least that's what they've last said after Take 2 sued them. And I think they are also working on a new Duke Nukem game. :lol:
