[QUOTE="fudgeblood"]Yes.biggest_loserWhats the performance of IV like on your PC? Quite good, I have most settings at medium-high and rarely has the FPS dropped enough for it to be unplayable.
Yes, I was eagerly waiting for the DLC's ariving on PC. GTA IV ran playable on my computer, which was 30+ frames constantly at medium/high setting. All I'd need is a new CPU, and that would resolve things.
Probably will wait for Episodes of Liberty City and than I will get the bundle, depending on the price of TLaD.
Even if you buy it on Steam, if it uses GFWL you'll still have to use it.If I can buy it on Steam cause I can't be bothered to deal with GFWL, the **** point system and the effort of downloading and install with that service when steam offers it at a click of a button.

Never used GFWL on GTA 4 cause I didn't bother with MP cause it ruined it.
If I can buy it on Steam then I don't have to deal with GFWL
What's hysterical is that GTA IV will detect your modified files and block you from joining a multiplayer game, yet users are not aware nor complaining about it-In other words, no mod support. At this point I really want GTA IV, but SA including the mp mod has satisfied my GTA play bud.
Last time I played it I had custom cars installed, it still worked so I dunno, I even had some mods for textures and other things. What's hysterical is that GTA IV will detect your modified files and block you from joining a multiplayer game, yet users are not aware nor complaining about it-In other words, no mod support. It uses GFWL regardless if you get on Steam or retail. On topic, I'm getting it as soon as it's released on PC. GTA 4 is one of my favorite games of this gen and all time.[QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"]Last time I played it I had custom cars installed, it still worked so I dunno, I even had some mods for textures and other things.Total dependency over the FileCheckFixer which still will create problems. To really get the marvelous stuff you are limited to Singleplayer to do things you really desire. Nevertheless, I suppose users will mod in mp within Singleplayer to create the similar experience much like the previous work of GTA SAmp.What's hysterical is that GTA IV will detect your modified files and block you from joining a multiplayer game, yet users are not aware nor complaining about it-In other words, no mod support. Thats why I want it to come to Steam so I can buy it on there and play from steam without having to buy points and go through GFWL **** download service.
I want Episodes from Liberty City instead. I think Lost and Damned alone is a stupid idea on their part considering both episodes are already avaiable.
I don't think I'll be buying TLaD for PC since I just bought Episodes from Liberty City last week. If I knew it might be coming to PC I would have waited.
On a side note, I really enjoyed TLaD since I mostly like driving and doing missions on a motocycle. Still playing through BoGT, but its been put on hold because of Dragon Age.
I would definately buy it, but I would like to know where the OP heard these rumors. I can't find anything that points to a pc release.
It was on GameSpot news. lolI would definately buy it, but I would like to know where the OP heard these rumors. I can't find anything that points to a pc release.

I just use gamespot mainly for patches and forums, I thought they stopped covering pc stuff a long time ago.
