I must say, i am quite pleased with the beta of Windows 7. After a bit of tweaking around with the task bar, i managed to make it navigatable, and from there on, it just kept getting better. I did not notice a slow down in any game (other than a few, since i only had the test driver), and all the programs worked perfectly (i had the 64 bit version). I also found it pretty cool how you can change the color scheme so it can match the desktop, without having a slow down like traditional theme changes. I still prefer Firefox over IE 8, but that can be easily changed. I might post a few screens later. If you haven't yet, and you have the skill to install it, i highly recommend you download and install the beta.
I would recommend the Beta only if you plan on dual-booting. If you install the Beta now, it will soon become a dead OS - it will NOT be updated anymore after beta testing. Once you decide to switch to the official Windows 7, you might have to do a clean OS install, meaning you have to move everything you once had over.
